Impact Gabriel had an ugly first half, as he threw two red-zone interceptions on ill-advised passes into the end zone in the first and second quarters. The Ducks still cruised to a 21-0 halftime lead thanks to a career outing by running back Jordan James. Gabriel also hung in and delivered with his legs, rushing for a nine-yard score to put his team on the board late in the first quarter. He also hit touchdown passes of nine and two yards to Evan Stewart and Tez Johnson, respectively. Despite throwing his second and third picks of the season, the sixth-year senior finished with another efficient passing performance. Through five games, he's now completed 77.8 percent of his passes this season while totaling 14 touchdowns.
