Stars in resurgent offense Gabriel completed 20 of 24 passes for 291 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 49-14 win against Oregon State. He also had four rushes for 64 yards with one touchdown. Impact Oregon's offense looked like last year's dominant unit for the first time with Gabriel under center. The Oklahoma transfer's two highlight plays came in the second quarter, including when he sprinted for a 54-yard touchdown on a speed option followed by a 20-yard touchdown pass to Traeshon Holden in the back of the end zone. Oregon's offense appeared to overcome the mistakes and struggles in the rushing game that held it back in the first two weeks of the season. Meanwhile, Gabriel also remained highly efficient, as he's now completed 84 percent of his 94 passing attempts through three contests. If this unit continues to make strides like this, then Gabriel should have no issues piloting what many picked to be one of the best offenses in college football during the preseason. The Ducks will have a bye week before going on the road Sept. 28 to face what has been a dismal UCLA team so far this season.
