Impact Gunther joined Syracuse as a walk-on quarterback last season and didn't see any action as a true freshman. He'll presumably look to move on to a smaller school that can present him with a clearer path to playing time. Unless he moves on to another FBS school as a scholarship player or recruited walk-on, Gunther should be able to compete immediately at his next stop while retaining four years of eligibility.
