It seems as though the 215-pound rusher is right on track in his recovery from this injury, making it likely that he could return in time for this coming spring's sessions given the typical timeline following ACL surgery. McCaskill logged 189 carries for 961 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns to go along with 21 receptions (on 23 targets) for 113 yards and two more scores during the 2021 campaign. Therefore, he'll likely compete for the Cougars' No. 1 running back spot when healthy again.
