Confirms return for 2024 Head coach Lane Kiffin confirmed Thursday that Dart has told him he will return to play for the Rebels in 2024, Tyler Komis of 247sports.com reports.

Impact Dart had the option to turn pro after this season but will opt to return to the Rebels for another year with his sights on leading the program to their first College Football Playoff appearance in its history. The former USC transfer is having an outstanding campaign, totaling 2,579 yards and 16 touchdowns while cutting down his interceptions to just five after he threw 11 in 2022. Dart was also recently named a Davey O'Brien Award Semifinalist this week, which is annually given out to the nation's top quarterback. In terms of Saturday's status, Kiffin confirmed that Dart is fine and will play against UL-Monroe.
