Impact Joly was a regular factor in NC State's offense to close out the season, reeling in at least three catches in each of the team's final six games. The tight end had a career year in Raleigh after transferring from UConn, reeling in 43 catches for 661 yards and four scores in 2024. He'll be the Wolfpack's primary tight end next fall is he sticks around.

The redshirt freshman found the end zone on a 33-yard pass from quarterback C.J. Bailey in the fourth quarter, giving NC State a one-point lead at the time. Overall, Smother accounted for 571 yards and six touchdowns on the ground in 2024 while adding 19 receptions for 263 yards and a pair of scores through the air as well. With three years of eligibility remaining, Smothers appears primed for a potential breakout season in 2025.

CJ Bailey - Throws three scores in loss Bailey completed 19 of 26 passes for 230 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 26-21 defeat against East Carolina. He also had 11 rushes for 24 yards.
