Bryson Nesbit - Done for day Nesbit has been ruled out for the remainder of UNC's matchup versus Charlotte with an upper body injury.

Impact Nebsit hauled in three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown before suffering an upper body injury. In his absence, John Carpenter and Jake Johnson should see increased playing time.

Impact Hampton left the game in the second quarter with a leg injury, though it appears he'll be good to go in the second half. The junior ran the ball 11 times for 77 yards before departing.

Impact Hampton's status for the remainder of the contest is unclear, but it will likely be clarified when the team returns from halftime. If he's unable to rejoin the action, Caleb Hood and other backs would be in line for additional run. The Tar Heels are already down some depth at running back with Darwin Barlow (undisclosed) ruled out before the game.

Impact Johnson was expected to use his senior year of collegiate eligibility during 2024. But when this year's Tar Heels began their regular season, he suffered a knee injury that will prevent him from being available again until 2025 at the earliest. Johnson can medically redshirt his 2024 and has decided to re-enroll at North Carolina after this year.
