Impact Rudolph logged his highest yardage total of the season since Week 1in Wednesday's matchup against the Broncos. Although the Huskies haven't relied too much on the passing game this season, the 5-foot-10 wide receiver does seem to always be involved in it when they do. He'll look to keep this momentum going this upcoming week versus Akron.

Telly Johnson Jr. - Two rushing touchdowns vs. Broncos Johnson totaled 23 rushes for 141 yards and two touchdowns during Wednesday's 42-28 victory against Western Michigan.

Impact Johnson didn't see the field all season until Week 9 versus Ball State where he logged six carries for 48 yards, but that was not nearly as big as the game he put together versus the Broncos. The freshman running back punched in scores during the second and third quarters, adding to his already impressive 141 rushing yards. His high usage could have been due to starting running back Antario Brown going down with a leg injury, but Johnson should still be a huge part of the Huskies offense whether Brown is out moving forward or not, especially since the team relies so heavily on the run.

Impact Although running back Telly Johnson returned at full capacity to the field versus the Broncos, Williams still received a high volume of output especially after starting running back Antario Brown had to leave the game with a leg injury. Williams punched in a five-yard receiving score in the final seconds of the first half and also found the end zone in the third quarter. The senior running back still looks to be a big part of the Huskies offense due to the high rushing volume, and he should continue to see even more usage if Brown's injury is long-term.

Impact Hampton was very efficient in his low passing output, finishing the game with his second-best completion percentage of the season. The 6-foot-3 quarterback also dished out two touchdowns, both in the second quarter, and he may have passed more if the game didn't tilt so heavily in the Huskies' favor. He's surpassed 200 passing yards just once this season, but the rush-heavy Northern Illinois offense makes it hard for him to reach high volumes of passing yards especially in closer conference games.

Impact Brown was injured on a tackle at the end of a 49-yard run in the first quarter, ending his day for the Huskies. To make matters worse, the senior running back was later seen on the sideline in crutches, indicating that the injury could be potentially serious enough to keep him out of a few games down the stretch this season. The severity and details of the injury are thus far unknown, so Brown can be looked at as questionable for next Wednesday's game against Akron, barring any negative updates. Should he miss time moving forward, fellow running backs Gavin Williams and Telly Johnson should see upticks in their usage.

Impact Brown recorded his second game of the season with two touchdowns, which was more impressive considering he didn't have a 20-plus carry performance like he's recorded earlier this season. The senior running back looks to still be the RB1 in the Huskies' backfield, and that trend should continue when the team comes out of the bye against Western Michigan on Nov. 6.
