Garret Rangel - Out for season Rangel (collarbone) will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season, McClain Baxley of 247Sports.com reports. Impact Rangel underwent season-ending surgery to repair a broken collarbone suffered during Friday's game against BYU. The 6-foot-2 redshirt sophomore got a few opportunities to contribute with the Cowboys this season, throwing for 192 yards (17-of-33), two touchdowns and one interception across four outings, adding on 91 yards on the ground. Rangel will look to recover ahead of next season when Alan Bowman will have exhausted his collegiate eligibility.
