Urban Meyer's wife posts awesome throwback photo prior to OSU-Michigan

It's Rivalry Week and there isn't a more important matchup than the one that will be played at "The Horseshoe" in Columbus on Saturday. There, the No. 2-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes face No. 3 Michigan in a game with major Big Ten and playoff implications.

But while Urban Meyer, Jim Harbaugh and their respective coaching staffs are hunkered down and looking for any way to beat their most hated opponent, there is one person who is taking time to reflect and get a good laugh at the game's insane history.

That person? Shelley Meyer, Urban's wife, who posted this incredible throwback photo on Wednesday:

As Shelley Meyer notes, the picture was taken in the late 1980s when her husband was a GA in Columbus. Also, shout out for the awesome hair and even more awesome Kent Mercker reference. Mercker, of course, was a pitcher for the Braves and Reds (in addition to a few other teams) and clearly is friends with the Meyers.

Rivalry Week is here. But it'll be hard for either Ohio State or Michigan to do anything on the field to top this picture.
