Amad Anderson Jr. - Fumbles twice Saturday Anderson caught all two targets for 81 yards during Saturday's 32-18 victory against Navy. He also lost two fumbles in the game.

Impact Anderson was only targeted twice Saturday but still put up 81 yards. Most of it came on a 74-yard reception in the third quarter, but he fumbled at the end of the play, wiping out all the progress he had made prior. He also muffed a punt in the game, making this one to forget for him. Anderson has been targeted just 10 times in his last four games combined, a concerning lack of volume after accumulating 42 targets in his first five games of the season.

Zae Baines - Elite versus Navy Baines gathered in seven of nine targets for 132 yards during Saturday's 32-18 win against Navy.

Impact Baines put together by far his best outing of the season Saturday, hauling in a season high seven receptions and shattering his previous season best with 132 receiving yards. With E.J. Warner back under center, Baines benefitted massively, and the two will look to continue that connection as the Owls fight for bowl eligibility in the last three games of the season.

E.J. Warner - Goes off against Navy Warner (concussion) was 27-for-33 passing for 402 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 32-18 victory versus Navy.

Impact Despite logging relatively few passes and two interceptions, Warner marked Saturday with at least 400 passing yards and four touchdowns, the second time he has done that in 2023. He has 2,143 passing yards and 16 touchdowns, both good enough for top five in the AAC this year. Within his top-five contemporaries, Warner is averaging 306.1 passing yards per game, the best among all of them. Having sat out some of October recovering from a concussion, Warner will be motivated to go off during November and stands an excellent chance at doing just that.

Impact Brock saw his first action for Temple Friday after a rough outing from Quincy Patterson put Brock into the game as the third string. He did not play great as he completed less than 50 percent of his passes and threw an interception, but he will be given slightly more leeway since it was his first time on the field. If E.J. Warner is unable to go again Nov. 4, it is unclear if Brock or Patterson will get the nod in his place.

Impact Patterson started his second consecutive game Friday but after a poor start and a rough outing the week before, he was benched himself for Forrest Brock. If E.J. Warner is unable to play Navy after the bye week on Nov. 4, it is unclear if Patterson or Brock will start in his place.
