Cade Yacamelli - Poised for bigger role Yacamelli is expected to handle a larger share of the Badgers' crowded backfield moving forward, Evan Flood of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Yacamelli is coming off a stellar outing against South Dakota, during which he tallied eight carries for 73 yards, and two catches for 13 yards through the air. The 6-foot redshirt sophomore has averaged a whopping nine yards per carry across Wisconsin's first two games and head coach Luke Fickell told reporters on Wednesday that fans should expect to see more of Yacamelli moving forward. With Tawee Walker (undisclosed) questionable to return against Alabama on Saturday, Yacamelli could see an expanded role against the Crimson Tide.

Bryson Green - Logs 38 yards in win Green gathered in three of five targets for 38 yards during Saturday's 27-13 victory against South Dakota.
Impact Green logged almost an identical stat line to his Week 1 output against Western Michigan. The fifth-year senior was the top outside receiver for the Badgers last year, though he only caught 32 of 72 targets while catching passes from Tanner Mordecai and Braedyn Locke. Green's early returns catching passes from Tyler Van Dyke have been solid. Yet, he's still yet to connect on any explosive passes, which they'll likely need to do in order to open things up for what has been a stagnant offense so far this year. Green figures to have an even harder time finding separation when No. 4-ranked Alabama comes to Camp Randall in Week 3.

Will Pauling - Five targets verus South Dakota Pauling reeled in four of five targets for 48 yards during Saturday's 27-13 victory against South Dakota.
Impact Pauling took up a much smaller share of the Badgers' targets after seeing 12 targets Week 1. The 5-foot-10 slot receiver still tied with bigger-bodied starting wideouts C.J. Williams and Bryson Green, as Wisconsin seemed to make a conscious effort to get the ball to its outside pass-catchers more Sautrday. Pauling will likely have to play a big role if the Badgers are able to win as double-digit home underdogs this coming Saturday versus Alabama.

C.J. Williams - Catches 50-yard touchdown Week 2 Williams gathered in two of five targets for 53 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-13 victory against South Dakota.
Impact Williams caught the first touchdown of his career when he got behind the Coyotes defense on an RPO before hauling in an easy 50-yard touchdown in the second quarter. His first career touchdown nearly came on the Badgers' second drive of the game when he got open deep on a flea flicker, but quarterback Tyler Van Dyke's pass fell short for an incompletion downfield. Williams came into Wisconsin with what were likely outsized expectations as a transfer from USC who was a four-star recruit coming out of high school. The junior wideout is listed as a co-starter with fellow outside receiver Bryson Green. Though, the Badgers' passing game has struggled with downfield passing attempts altogether so far this season, so there's likely very little upside for Williams or Green at this time. Things will only get significantly tougher for the Badgers' schedule moving forward, starting with this coming Saturday's home game against No. 4-ranked Alabama.

Tyler Van Dyke - Modest outing again Week 2 Van Dyke completed 17 of 27 passes for 214 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-13 victory versus South Dakota. He also had six rushes for negative four yards.
Impact Van Dyke looked slightly more consistent during his second game with the Badgers, as he did a better job avoiding turnover-worthy plays. However, unliked the season opener, he did not have to press as much in this game since Wisconsin never trailed versus the Coyotes. However, he still didn't record many explosive passes outside of his 50-yard touchdown pass to a wide-open C.J. Williams on an RPO. Van Dyke has now totaled just two touchdowns to one turnerover while completing 60.3 percent of his passes against Western Michigan and South Dakota. With an offense that has severely lacked explosiveness this season, Van Dyke and the Badgers figure to struggle when No. 4-ranked Alabama visits Camp Randall this coming Saturday.
