Misses opportunity to force playoff Scheffler shot a two-under 68 in the final round of the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish in a share of second place. Impact Scheffler began the day in a five-way tie for the lead and was able to get off to a quick start with a pair of birdies in the first three holes to take the solo lead. He headed into the closing hole needing a birdie to force a playoff, but he narrowly missed a five-foot birdie putt and came up one short. Scheffler had an excellent week with his irons, ranking sixth in SG: Approach. He'll head into The Masters on the heels of two wins and a runner-up over his last three starts.
