Unable to make a run in final round Hovland fell into a tie for 13th place at the AT&T Pebble Beach pro-Am after shooting a one-under 71 in the final round. Impact Hovland was in great position to challenge for his fourth career PGA Tour win, and first in the continental U.S. midway through the third round. Hovland had a bit of a shaky finish, but still was just three back going into the final round. Hovland made easy birdies on the two front-nine par-5's, but just could not get anything going after that. The ball-striking machine hit 80 percent of the fairways and 75 percent of the greens in regulation this week, but just didn't make enough putts to challenge the leaders. Hovland has not finished outside the top-25 in his last seven worldwide starts. He will like his chances to continue that streak at the WM Phoenix Open.
