Pacers waive JaKeenan Gant

The roster cutting has begun.

The Indiana Pacers waived forward JaKeenan Gant on Wednesday, reducing their training camp roster to 19. The Pacers play two preseason games in the next week and the regular season begins Oct. 23.

The Pacers announced the signing of Gant, an undrafted rookie out of the University of Louisiana, on July 1.
