Purdue vs. Marquette highlights: Boilermakers win Maui Invitational thriller, 78-75

Zach Edey led No. 2 Purdue over reigning Big East champion Marquette in the Maui Invitational championship game on Wednesday, 78-75. Edey finished with 28 points and 15 rebounds, while Tyler Kolek had 22 points and six assists for the Golden Eagles.
The Boilermakers led 45-33 at halftime, punctuated by a 70-foot highlight shot from Lance Jones at the buzzer. Marquette, though, opened the second half by methodically chipping away at Purdue's lead, making it a one-point game with 51.8 seconds left. But Edey tipped in a miss with 19.1 seconds left and the Boilermakers held on to claim the trophy.
