Ohio State vs. Texas live updates, score: OSU holds lead in second half

The semifinal round of the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff comes to a close with No. 5 seed Texas facing No. 8 seed Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The winner will face No. 7 seed Notre Dame, which took down No. 6 seed Penn State in a last-second thriller in the Orange Bowl at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Friday, in the national championship game on Jan. 20.
