The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule continued with the second race of the season, the Ambetter Health 400, on Sunday, and we had you covered with all the must-see moments.
Here are the highlights from Atlanta Motor Speedway!
The caution flag came out on the latter half of the final lap, and when it did, Christopher Bell was in the lead, edging out Carson Hocevar and Kyle Larson for the win. Ryan Blaney finished fourth, followed by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in fifth.
Kyle Larson knifed his way into the lead, but then chaos ensued behind him, as Austin Cindric, who was right behind Larson, and William Byron collided and went off the track.
Larson was in the lead with five laps remaining, followed by Ross Chastain in second and Christopher Bell in third. Carson Hocevar was in fourth, followed by Josh Berry in fifth. The race went to overtime.
Ryan Blaney got into first place but then fell back a few spots and, despite a valiant effort to recover, went off the track after being bumped, and it triggered a caution. Blaney expressed his feelings about that hit afterward.
Chase Briscoe made contact with Chris Buescher, who then made contact with Alex Bowman, and the yellow flag was raised once again.
Daniel Suarez made a move to the middle but made contact with Ty Gibbs, then the wall and got sideways after making contact with Gibbs again. Several cars hit the wobbling Suarez, as the yellow flag was raised.
Joey Logano dominated Stage 2, leading 83 of the 100 laps, but Kyle Larson took first place on the penultimate lap and held on to take the stage. Bubba Wallace finished second, with Logano in third. William Byron and Alex Bowman rounded out the top five.
With 12 laps remaining in Stage 2, Chase Elliott was tapped into the wall. He then proceeded to slow down, make contact with another car and go off course, bringing out a caution. Corey LaJoie and Brad Keselowski were involved in the wreck and didn't return.
Todd Gilliland lost a tire but was able to get to the pits, get a new tire put on and get back on the track. That said, it did cause a caution and put Gilliland in 36th place.
We ran 83 clean laps before the first caution of the afternoon, as Ty Dillon's car lost control and had to be helped off the track.
Then, on Lap 102, Erik Jones got caught in traffic and lost control, bringing out another caution.
Brad Keselowski was sent to the back of the pack after a fueler was connected to his car a little too long in the pits.
Josh Berry led 27 laps in the opening stage and finished the job at the end of Lap 60 to win the stage. Austin Cindric — who led 30 laps in Stage 1 — was second, and William Byron was third. Bubba Wallace and Chase Elliott rounded out the top five.
The No. 77 car began the race in 26th place, but Carson Hocevar made his way into the top 10 in Stage 1.
The thundering and gradually deafening buzz isn't a military plane flying over the track: it's the field of 43 going to work on Turn 1.
The Ambetter Health 400 began at roughly 3:22 p.m. ET.

William Byron will try to make it back-to-back wins to start the Cup Series season in Atlanta on Sunday after winning the Daytona 500 last weekend.
