NASCAR highlights: Austin Cindric gets big win in Enjoy Illinois 300

Austin Cindric celebrated his first win this season and second career win, ending an 85-race winless streak and punching his ticket to the playoffs.

With one lap to go, race leader Ryan Blaney ran out of gas and fell behind, opening up the opportunity for his Team Penske teammate Austin Cindric to take the lead and the checkered flag in the Enjoy Illinois 300!

Ty Gibbs' pit crew worked fast, but in the urgency to get back on the track, one member got caught up on the hood of the No. 54 car.

Kyle Busch recorded his first DNF of the season after this contact with Kyle Larson on the last lap of Stage 2.

Busch was notably frustrated after the exit.

Josh Berry ran into some trouble in Stage 2, slowing down to the outside of the track with a flat front tire and finishing his day on a disappointing note.

Christopher Bell, the winner of the Coca-Cola 600 last weekend, continued his strong run by taking the Stage 1 victory in Illinois.
