2024 NBA All-Star Weekend highlights: Skills challenge, 3-point contest, dunk contest

NBA All-Star weekend continued Saturday from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, home of the Indiana Pacers.

Kicking off the night, "Team Pacers" (Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin and Myles Turner) beat "Team Top Picks" (Orlando's Paolo Banchero, Minnesota's Anthony Edwards and San Antonio's Victor Wembanyama) and "Team All-Stars" (Toronto's Scottie Barnes, Philadelphia's Tyrese Maxey and Atlanta's Trae Young) in the Kia Skills Challenge.

Milwaukee's Damian Lillard then defended his title in the Starry 3-Point Contest, beating Haliburton, Young, teammate Malik Beasley, New York's Jalen Brunson, Utah's Lauri Markannen, Cleveland's Donovan Mitchell and Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns.

In a unique matchup, Golden State's Stephen Curry beat WNBA and New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu in a tight, head-to-head 3-point challenge. Rounding out the night, Orlando's Mac McClung defended his title in the AT&T Slam Dunk Contest, as he beat out Boston's Jaylen Brown, Miami's Jaime Jaquez Jr. and New York's Jacob Toppin.
