The United States completed its stunning Copa América group stage collapse with a 1-0 loss to Uruguay on Monday. Gregg Berhalter's side failed to reach the back of the net in a game it ultimately needed to win after Panama took care of Bolivia 3-1 in their concurrent match.
It marked the first time that the U.S. men's national team was eliminated from the group stage of a major tournament after winning its first game. It was also the first time the USMNT was eliminated from the group stage of a major tournament hosted on home soil.
