Iowa women's basketball fans traveled in droves to see Caitlin Clark break the Division I women's college basketball all-time scoring record on Sunday afternoon.
After totaling 31 points through the first three quarters, Clark was held scoreless in the fourth as the Nebraska Cornhuskers came back to stun the Hawkeyes, 82-79, in front of a sold-out crowd at Pinacle Bank Arena.
Jaz Shelley scored a team-high 23 points and Alexis Markowski finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the Cornhuskers' victory.
Clark is now eight points away from breaking former Washington guard Kelsey Plum's scoring record. She will have the chance to make history on Thursday night when the Hawkeyes host Michigan at 8 p.m. ET at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
