Ready for Opening Day Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday that Judge (illness) is "good to go," Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Impact Judge was held out of the lineup for Monday's Grapefruit League finale due to a minor illness, but he participated in team activities Wednesday and looked good in batting practice. The 28-year-old will likely slot into the No. 2 spot for Thursday's season opener against Toronto. Judge appeared in 16 spring games this year and slashed .256/.333/.395 with one home run and two RBI.

The Yankees haven't yet indicated how they plan to structure their starting lineup while Luke Voit (knee) begins the season on the injured list, but Judge will presumably slot into the No. 2 spot for Thursday's opener versus the Blue Jays. Judge batted second in all 16 of his starts this spring.

Unhurt after HBP Judge was hit in the lat and pulled from Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against Toronto, but he is fine, according to Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger.

Impact Judge was drilled by a 96 mph fastball and immediately removed from the contest, but Yankees interim manager Carlos Mendoza indicated after the game that the slugger was pulled because he was slated for only two plate appearances regardless of the outcome. At this point, there appears to be no concern about Judge needing to miss any time. In his other plate appearance Wednesday, Judge lined out to right field.
