Impact Bregman started the first two games of the year and was excellent, going 2-for-4 with a homer and a walk in each game. He doesn't seem to be dealing with any specific injury, but he battled a hamstring issue for a large part of camp, so the Astros may not want him to play three games in a row right away.

Impact Bregman smashed a solo shot in the eighth inning following teammate Michael Brantley's homer in the prior at-bat. He was later pulled for a pinch runner in the ninth inning when he got into scoring position -- likely in deference to the sore hamstring that plagued him during spring training and the game being a blowout. The pinch runner, Robel Garcia, ended up scoring a run that could have been Bregman's.
