He's expected to get imaging on the wrist and meet with team doctors in the coming days, at which point a clearer timeline for his return should emerge. Gilberto Celestino is filling in for Kirilloff in the outfield in Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, but the Twins could recall Trevor Larnach from Triple-A St. Paul to serve as Kirilloff's primary replacement in left field while he's on the IL.

However, manager Rocco Baldelli said that the 24-year-old looked good swinging a bat after reporting to spring training Friday.
