Charlie Morton - Cruises to second win Morton (2-1) earned the win Friday, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks over six innings against the Royals. He struck out five.
Impact Morton got plenty of run support early and was able to cruise through six innings, securing his second win and first quality start of the season. After recording just one strikeout in his season debut, the veteran right-hander has 11 over his past two starts. Morton is tentatively scheduled to pitch next versus Miami.

Orlando Arcia - To be re-evaluated in 10-14 days Arcia (wrist) will be re-evaluated in 10-to-14 days, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Impact There is not a firm timetable for his return, but Atlanta will assess his progress in a couple weeks. Bowman notes that Nick Castellanos spent 16 days on the injured list with a similar microfracture in 2021, but his injury was to his top hand (on the bat), while Arcia's injury is to his lower hand. Vaughn Grissom is starting at shortstop and hitting seventh Friday against the Royals.

Impact The veteran right-hander hasn't had a regular spot in a big-league bullpen since 2019 due to injuries, tossing only 11.1 big-league innings over the last three seasons, but Yates won a spot in the Atlanta bullpen in camp and recorded his first MLB win since 2018 on Wednesday. The 36-year-old has been far from sharp though, posting a 5.79 ERA and 4:6 K:BB through 4.2 innings to begin the season, and he's unlikely to see consistent high-leverage work without improving his control.

Impact The 29-year-old is taking advantage of Michael Harris' absence due to a back injury, going 6-for-17 (.353) while starting five of the last six games with three doubles, three runs, an RBI and Wednesday's steal, his second of the season. Hilliard has also struck out nine times during that stretch though, and with Harris potentially back from the injured list Monday, his run of fantasy usefulness figures to be fleeting.

Eddie Rosario - Belts decisive homer Rosario went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in 5-4 win against the Reds on Wednesday.
Impact Rosario got Atlanta's biggest hit in the contest, breaking a 4-4 tie in the eighth inning with a solo homer to center field. The long ball was the veteran's first of the campaign and also accounted for his first RBI. It's been an otherwise quiet start to the campaign for Rosario, as he's slashing .229/.270/.371 through 37 plate appearances.
