Impact Nimmo tripled off Aaron Nola in the sixth inning, scoring the only run against the starter. In addition, he slammed a solo home run in the eighth inning off Hector Neris. It was his first extra-base hit in 13 games since Aug. 21. The 28-year-old is slashing .303/.418/.431 with six long balls, 24 RBI, 45 runs and five steals in 329 plate appearances this season.

Impact Nimmo landed on the shelf Sept. 4 with a strained right hamstring, but he'll rejoin the active roster after being sidelined for little more than the 10-day minimum. Impact Nimmo is first eligible to return from the injured list Sept. 15 against the Cardinals, but with the Mets having an open date in their schedule the following day, the outfielder is most likely targeting the series in Philadelphia next weekend for his return to the lineup.
