Shifts to 60-day IL Poteet (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Sunday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Impact Poteet landed on the shelf with elbow inflammation Friday, and he'll now be sidelined until late September, if not the rest of the season. The right-hander has a 3.86 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 21:11 K:BB across 28 innings this year.

Heads to injured list Poteet was placed on the injured list Friday with right elbow inflammation, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Impact It's not exactly clear when Poteet picked up the injury, but he will be unavailable for the time being. Jordan Holloway was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville to take Poteet's place in Miami's bullpen.

Impact Poteet had been serving as a starter for Miami prior to landing on the injured list May 29 with an elbow injury, but he looks set to work out of the bullpen moving forward with Braxton Garrett and Max Meyer having seemingly settled into back-end spots in the rotation.

Reinstated from IL Poteet (elbow) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list Friday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Impact Poteet will return to the Marlins after he missed over a month of action while nursing an elbow issue. He'll look to build off of the 2.42 ERA and 1.04 WHIP he posted over 26 innings in 11 appearances including two starts prior to getting hurt in late May.

Rehab shifting to Triple-A Poteet (elbow) will move his rehab assignment to Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Impact Poteet began his rehab assignment at Single-A Jupiter on Monday and struck out four in two scoreless innings. It's not yet clear how many innings he'll throw Friday, but it's encouraging to see him advancing to the Triple-A level, which could represent the final step in his recovery process.
