Dominant outing against Snakes Anderson (8-5) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out eight over seven innings in a win over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday night.

Impact The Diamondbacks got to Anderson in the first inning with a two-out double to get them on the scoreboard but had trouble getting anything going afterward. Anderson allowed just one more baserunner while pitching six scoreless innings. Wednesday was his first time going more than six innings since July 1 and his first time allowing under two walks since June 26. He also generated 15 whiffs and has 24 strikeouts over his last 17.2 innings pitched. For the year, Anderson owns a 3.60 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 122:50 K:BB over 122.1 innings. He's lined up for a big divisional showdown against the Phillies next week.
