Impact Realmuto, Alec Bohm (finger), Aaron Nola and Kyle Gibson are all apparently unvaccinated, so they're unable to travel to Canada for the two-game series in Toronto this week. All four players should be reinstated to the active roster ahead of Friday's series opener against the Marlins. In the meantime, Garrett Stubbs should operate as the Phillies' primary catcher, while Rafael Marchan was promoted to handle backup duties.

Impact Realmuto, third baseman Alec Bohm and starting pitchers Aaron Nola and Kyle Gibson will all be deactivated Tuesday since none of the four are eligible to cross the Canadian border due to their vaccination statuses. Before the Toronto trip, the Phillies will wrap up their four-game series in St. Louis on Monday, and Realmuto will start at catcher and bat fifth in that contest.
