Impact Woodward noted that he was hoping for King to be activated Friday without first going on a rehab stint, but that proposal was vetoed by the team's medical staff. If King does indeed get a rehab appearance under his belt in the next few days, he seems likely to rejoin the Texas bullpen during the upcoming series in Seattle.
