Swipes two bagsLaureano went 0-for-4 with two stolen bases and a walk in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-inning victory over the Dodgers.
ImpactLaureano reached base only once in the contest, but he took full advantage of a fourth-inning HBP by swiping second and third base before coming around to score on a wild pitch. The 26-year-old is up to four steals this season, tops in MLB.

Blasts first homerChapman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's win over the Dodgers.
ImpactChapman got to Dodgers starter Trevor Bauer with a 426-foot solo shot to center field in the seventh inning and helped send the game into extra innings when he singled and scored in the ninth. It was easily the best game of the year for the star third baseman, who entered the contest batting a paltry .105 with no extra-base hits.

So-so in second startLuzardo hurled 5.1 innings against the Dodgers on Wednesday, allowing two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out six. He did not factor in the decision.
ImpactLuzardo deserves a fair amount of credit for limiting a potent Dodgers lineup to two runs over his 5.1 frames, but he threw an inefficient 104 pitches and yielded four free passes. Three of those walks came in the first inning, and Luzardo was able to somewhat settle down after giving up a run in that frame. Through two contests, the southpaw has racked up 14 strikeouts over 10.1 innings; however, he also given up 13 hits and seven earned runs. His next outing is scheduled for Tuesday at Arizona.

Falters in save opportunityJansen was tagged with a blown save Wednesday against Oakland. He pitched one inning and allowed one run on one hit and two walks while failing to register any strikeouts.
ImpactJansen simply didn't have his best stuff Wednesday, as he threw only nine of 22 pitches for strikes and walked a pair. He allowed the tying run to score in the ninth inning on a sacrifice fly and walked the following batter, but the veteran closer was able to get out of the frame with only one run on the board. Jansen has posted a concerning 1:4 K:BB through 3.2 innings this season, though he has yielded just one run. His ninth-inning job is likely secure for now, but he has looked far from dominant thus far in the campaign.

Racks up 10 strikeouts againBauer pitched 6.2 innings against Oakland on Wednesday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out 10. He did not factor in the decision.
ImpactThe reigning NL Cy Young award winner has gotten off to a fast start with his new club, registering 10 strikeouts in each of his first two outings. Bauer threw a hefty 110 pitches Wednesday, 67 of which were strikes, including 16 of the swinging variety. He left with a one-run lead before Oakland mounted a comeback in the ninth and won the game in the 10th. Bauer's next trip to the mound is scheduled for Tuesday at home against Colorado.

Ruled out through FridayBellinger (calf) won't play in Friday's home opener against the Nationals, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
ImpactA stint on the injured list has not been ruled out for Bellinger, and the Dodgers will see how he feels after a couple days off. No structural damage or stress fractures were revealed after Tuesday's tests, so Bellinger isn't expected to require a lengthy absence even if he lands on the IL
