Bryan De La Cruz - Knocks three hits in winDe La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in a 14-1 win over the Rockies in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader.
ImpactDe La Cruz entered Wednesday in a 2-for-23 skid over his last nine games. That changed in a big way as the Marlins unleashed 21 hits in the matinee contest. The outfielder is slashing .269/.346/.377 with a home run, eight RBI, eight runs scored and four stolen bases through 34 contests, though he's mainly been limited to a part-time role.

Jorge Soler - Scores thrice in blowoutSoler went 3-for-6 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored in a 14-1 win over the Rockies in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader.
ImpactSoler was right at the heart of the Marlins' powerful offensive output in the afternoon contest. After hitting well for much of May, the outfielder now has five multi-hit efforts in his last 10 games. He's up to a .225/.314/.479 slash line with 11 homers, 27 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 doubles in 44 games this season.

Garrett Cooper - Three RBI in afternoon gameCooper went 3-for-6 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored in a 14-1 win over the Rockies in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader.
ImpactThe Marlins teed off on Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela -- Cooper was one of five Miami hitters to log three hits. The 31-year-old also started in the nightcap, but went 0-for-2 before Nick Fortes replaced him as the designated hitter. Cooper is up to a .282/.361/.429 slash line with three home runs, 22 RBI, 17 runs scored, 12 doubles and a triple in 45 contests this year.

Edward Cabrera - Wild but effective in winCabrera (1-0) allowed a hit, four walks and two hit batters while striking out nine over six shutout innings to earn the win in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Rockie...
ImpactCabrera didn't have a conventionally great start, but he was able to pitch around his mistakes rather impressively given the unfriendly road venue. The lack of command is a bit concerning -- he threw just 59 of 94 pitches for strikes -- but this was a positive result for the 24-year-old top prospect. He's been alright with Triple-A Jacksonville, logging a 4.56 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 32:12 K:BB across 23.2 innings. Cabrera's not guaranteed another turn through the rotation, so fantasy managers may want to wait and see if he sticks around on the Marlins' roster.
