Monte Harrison - Links on with Milwaukee Harrison agreed Monday with the Brewers on a minor-league contract and received an invitation to MLB spring training, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Impact It's a return to the Brewers' organization for Harrison, as he was drafted by Milwaukee in the second round of the 2014 MLB Draft. The 27-year-old had a brief run in the majors last year with the Angels and had short big-league stints with the Marlins in 2020 and 2021, compiling a .176/.253/.294 slash line with a 48.7 percent strikeout rate in 76 MLB plate appearances. Harrison will likely be organizational depth for the Brew Crew, and the bulk of his playing time should come with Triple-A Nashville.
