Matt Olson - Launches 26th homerOlson went 2-for-4 with a homer, a double and two RBI in Wednesday's win over the Twins.
ImpactOlson got Atlanta on the board with a two-out double in the bottom of the first to score Ronald Acuna. The first baseman then carried on with his home run tear in the eighth, launching a solo shot to center field to give his team a 3-0 lead. Olson now has five home runs in his last six games to go along with 10 RBI and seven runs scored. His 26 long balls on the season currently leads the National League.

Raisel Iglesias - Nails down 13th saveIglesias picked up the save in Wednesday's 3-0 victory over the Twins, striking out two over one scoreless inning.
ImpactIglesias entered the game with a three-run lead in the ninth and needed only 10 pitches to run through the heart of the Twins' lineup and notch his 13th save. He struck out Byron Buxton on three straight pitches to open the frame before fanning Royce Lewis in the next at-bat, with both hitters falling victim to Iglesias' changeup. The reliever has now converted his last four save attempts and holds a 19:1 KK:BB ratio in June.

Kenta Maeda - Allows two runs in lossMaeda (1-5) took the loss Wednesday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over five innings against Atlanta. He struck out four.
ImpactMaeda issued a walk to Ronald Acuna to open the bottom of the first inning, who would then come around to score on a Matt Olson double after stealing second and advancing to third on a wild pitch. The right-hander would allow the leadoff man to reach again in the third, which would cost him as Atlanta took a 2-0 lead on a sacrifice fly. Maeda gave up only two runs on the afternoon after shutting out the Tigers over five innings in his previous outing, but he was still tagged with the loss for the fifth time in his last six starts. He'll look for his second win when the Twins take on the Royals at home next week.

Kolby Allard - Shines in spot startAllard did not factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing three hits and one walk over 4.2 scoreless innings against the Twins. He struck out eight.
ImpactAllard couldn't have asked for a better start, striking out the side in the first inning as Minnesota's hitters fell victim to his lethal four-seam fastball. The lefty struck out six of the first nine batters he faced and really only got into trouble in the fifth after surrendering a single and a walk to open the inning. However, he struck out the next two batters before being relieved by Kirby Yates and eventually taking the no-decision. Whether or not Allard sticks around in Atlanta's rotation remains to be seen, but he certainly made a strong case with Wednesday's scoreless outing.
