Impact Eovaldi was relatively effective at holding the Astros in check to begin Friday's matchup, with the only run he allowed coming via a double in the bottom of the first inning. However, the Red Sox only mustered two hits during the game, forcing the right-hander to settle for the loss. The 31-year-old made five appearances (four starts) during the postseason and recorded a 4.79 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 20.2 innings.
