Mark Vientos - Officially recalled from minors Vietos was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse by the Mets on Wednesday.
Impact The move which had been reported earlier Wednesday is now official. Vientos earned the promotion by putting together a 1.104 OPS with 13 home runs across 166 plate appearances at Syracuse. He might initially only start against lefties but could certainly play his way into an everyday role. Vientos is worth an add in deeper fantasy leagues.

Justin Verlander - Pounded for six runs Verlander (1-2) was hit with the loss Tuesday against the Rays after allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings.
Impact Verlander struggled badly in this one despite having an extra day of rest after his start was pushed back to Tuesday.
