Mitch Keller - Exit considered precautionaryKeller isn't dealing with anything worse than a bruised thigh after getting hit by a comebacker Saturday against the Tigers, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactKeller exited the game after getting hit, but that seems to be nothing more than a precautionary measure, as the Pirates had little reason to risk anything during a Grapefruit League game. Keller is merely considered day-to-day and had already thrown 18 pitches, so the incident should have minimal impact on his readiness for the upcoming season.

Mitch Keller - Hit by comebackerKeller was removed from Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Tigers after he was hit in the right thigh by a comebacker in the top of the second inning, Kevin Gorman of Tr...
ImpactKeller tossed 18 pitches prior to his departure and allowed two hits and no walks while striking out one in 1.2 innings. He likely wouldn't have pitched much longer even if he wasn't hit by a comebacker, and it's not clear whether his thigh injury will impact his training regimen during camp.

Aaron Hicks - Starting against OriolesHicks (wrist) is starting Saturday's Grapefruit League game against Baltimore.
ImpactHicks took batting practice when the Yankees reported to camp last weekend, and he'll debut in a spring game against the Orioles on Saturday. The 32-year-old will start in center field and bat third. Hicks is coming off a pair of procedures in recent years, as he underwent Tommy John surgery in October of 2019 before missing most of the 2021 campaign due to a left wrist procedure that he underwent in May. He should be healthy ahead of the 2022 season, but his lack of durability has been a concern for most of his career.
