Impact Pepiot presumably started throwing again about a week or two ago after his activity had been limited since he was diagnosed with a left oblique strain coming out of his final Cactus League appearance March 28. Before developing the injury, Pepiot had been on track to break camp as a member of Los Angeles' rotation, but he may not have a starting role waiting for him once he's eligible to return from the 60-day injured list in late May. Tony Gonsolin has since beaten Pepiot back from the IL to recapture a spot in the Dodgers' rotation.

Transferred to 60-day IL Pepiot (oblique) was transferred to the 60-day injured list by the Dodgers on Friday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Impact Pepiot has yet to resume throwing after straining an oblique in late March, so the move doesn't come as a big surprise. He's now not eligible to return until late May.

Still not able to throw Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters before Monday's game against the Mets that Pepiot (oblique) is still not throwing, Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com reports.
Impact "Ryan is just doing one-arm plyos in Arizona," Roberts said. "We're all kind of miffed at the slow progress. He's still not throwing a baseball." The right-hander has been on the injured list just before the start of the season with a left oblique strain, and an injury that was expected to keep him out for a couple of weeks will now likely sideline the 25-year-old until the end of month.

Impact The team noted nearly one week ago that Pepiot could get the green light to pick up a baseball within the next week, but he's yet to be cleared.
