He's also notched two steals in that span, giving him 27 thefts in 31 attempts this season. The outfielder is slashing .264/.329/.466 with 25 home runs, 77 RBI and 87 runs scored through 130 contests, matching his career high in games played from 2021.

Impact Bogaerts didn't get a chance to go for the home run he needed for the cycle, but he showed off some impressive speed Monday. He stole home and hit his first triple of the season in the contest, which was his fifth multi-hit effort over his last six games. The shortstop is up to a .279/.348/.433 slash line with 18 home runs, 51 RBI, 75 runs scored, 17 steals and 29 doubles through 144 contests. He hit leadoff Monday with Ha-Seong Kim (abdomen) out of the lineup -- Bogaerts has primarily hit fifth over the last month.

Eguy Rosario - Lifts second homer Rosario went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two total runs scored in Monday's 11-9 win over the Rockies.

Impact Rosario has gone 5-for-19 (.263) over his first five games this season, and two of those hits have been homers. This was also his first multi-RBI effort in his career. The infielder has carved out some playing time at third base, sharing the hot corner with Matthew Batten, since Manny Machado (elbow) has been unable to play the field. There's no platoon situation here, but Rosario seems set to be in the lineup about half of the time down the stretch, and perhaps more if Batten has to continue filling in for Ha-Seong Kim (abdomen) at second base.

Impact Cooper had struggled recently, going 1-for-13 over his previous seven games, though he had four walks in that span. His second-inning blast got the Padres on the board in this contest. The first baseman has a career-high 16 homers while adding 59 RBI, 40 runs scored, 17 doubles, a triple and a .252/.301/.421 slash line through 115 games between San Diego and Miami this season.

Impact The Padres' bullpen nearly blew an eight-run lead, but Hader was eventually able to end the Rockies' comeback hopes despite allowing an inherited runner to score. While far from a pretty effort, Hader was able to secure his 30th save of the season, which was his second in a three-day span after he saw light usage in early September. He's now at a 1.26 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 79:28 K:BB through 50 innings this season.

Michael Wacha - Nabs 12th win Wacha (12-4) allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and struck out six without walking a batter over five innings to earn the win over the Rockies on Monday.

Impact Wacha departed with a comfortable 11-3 lead in the contest, though the Padres' bullpen allowed six runs to score. Wacha has given up at least three runs in four of his last five outings, and he's completing six innings in just one of them. It's a noticeable drop in quality from what he was doing in May and June prior to a shoulder injury. Wacha is at a 3.44 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 111:41 K:BB through 120.1 innings through 22 starts this season. The veteran righty is lined up for a home start against one of his former teams, the Cardinals, over the weekend.

Avila has now sandwiched a pair of scoreless outings around a brutal beatdown against the Dodgers last Monday. Still, the 26-year-old has been serviceable with a 3.38 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 45:23 K:BB in 42.2 innings. It's unclear whether his next appearance could come as a starter or in relief once again.
