Logan Webb - Touched up in loss Webb (4-6) took the loss Friday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk over seven innings against Baltimore. He struck out six.
Impact Webb allowed eight home runs in his first 45 innings in 2023. Heading into Friday he had eliminated the long ball in his previous four starts. Gunnar Henderson's seventh-inning blast snapped Webb's 33-inning stretch without allowing a homer. After winning 15 games and posting a 2.90 ERA in 2022, Webb has actually been better this season. His ERA, WHIP, K/9 and BB/9 are all better in 2023 as the 26-year-old remains a stud at the top of the Giants' rotation.

LaMonte Wade Jr. - Smashes eighth homer Wade went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 loss against the Orioles.
Impact Wade smacked his first homer since May 10, ending a 20-game drought. Despite the power outage, Wade has rebounded in 2023 with an .866 OPS after posting a .664 OPS in 2022. Like his entire career, Wade is a great option against right-handed pitching with a .910 OPS this season. However, his OPS is just .661 against lefties, designating him to a platoon role.

Joey Bart - Begins rehab assignment Bart (groin) began a rehab assignment Friday and went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts in Triple-A Sacramento's game versus Tacoma.
Impact Bart may need a few games on the rehab assignment after being sidelined for over two weeks already. The catcher could be activated at some point next week. The Giants begin a three-game series in Colorado on Tuesday. It's unclear if Bart would return to a starting role once healthy, as Patrick Bailey has hit .310 across his first 12 major-league games.

Impact Wood allowed season highs in hits and runs allowed while suffering his first loss of the season. Since being activated off the injured list in mid-May, the left-hander has made five appearances (four starts) and holds a 6.30 ERA, 1.70 WHIP and 19:10 K:BB during that stretch (20 innings). Wood's command has been shaky over his last two starts, recording eight walks and plunking two batters. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for the opener of a three-game set in Colorado.

Impact Conforto was sent for both X-rays and an MRI after experiencing discomfort in his heel during Tuesday night's game against the Pirates.
