Sam Delaplane - Re-signs with San Francisco Delaplane (forearm) re-signed with the Giants on a minor-league deal Nov. 19.
Impact Delaplane opted to stick around for a second year in the Giants organization despite having been moved off the 40-man roster earlier this month prior to becoming a free agent. After undergoing Tommy John surgery in April 2021, Delaplane was cleared to begin a rehab assignment in the lower levels of the minors this past May, but he made just four appearances before being shut down for the season with a forearm strain.

Drew Strotman - Sticks with San Fran Strotman re-signed with the Giants on a minor-league deal Nov. 19.
Impact Strotman chose to return to the Giants organization after San Francisco previously designated him for assignment earlier this month before he eventually cleared waivers. The 26-year-old right-hander spent the 2022 season in the Twins and Rangers organization and produced a 6.32 ERA across 52.2 innings at the Triple-A level.

Colton Welker - Rejoins San Francisco Welker (shoulder) re-signed with the Giants on a minor-league deal Nov. 19.
Impact Welker opted to stick around in the Giants organization after he was designated for assignment Nov. 16 and then cleared waivers. The 25-year-old corner infielder previously saw 19 games of big-league action with the Rockies in 2021, but he was sidelined for nearly the entire 2022 campaign while recovering from left shoulder surgery. It's unclear if he'll be back to full health for spring training.

Mauricio Llovera - Re-ups with Giants Llovera (elbow) re-signed with the Giants on a minor-league deal Nov. 19.
Impact One day after being non-tendered by the Giants, Llovera quickly re-upped with the organization on a new deal. Though he won't reclaim a spot on the Giants' 40-man roster, his minor-league pact will presumably allow him to compete for a spot in the big club's Opening Day bullpen during spring training. Before finishing the season on the injured list with a Grade 2 right flexor strain, Llovera posted a 4.41 ERA and 1.35 WHIP in 16.1 innings with San Francisco.
