Yunior Marte - Snags win in season finale Marte (1-1) earned the win Wednesday over the Padres, striking out two across two perfect innings.
Impact Marte was with the Giants from Sept. 5 onward for his sixth stint in the majors this season. He closed out the year with six runs allowed over his last 14.1 innings while adding both of his holds and his only win of the season. The 27-year-old wrapped up the season with a 5.44 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 44:22 K:BB over 48 innings overall. He's unlikely to see more than low-leverage work in 2023.

Austin Slater - Notches homer, steal in finale Slater went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Monday's 8-1 victory versus the Padres.
Impact Slater enjoyed a nice end to his season, swatting his seventh homer and swiping his 12th bag in the win. The veteran outfielder wrapped up 2022 with a .264/.366/.408 slash line over 125 games. He worked mostly in a platoon role this season and could do so again next year.

Impact Villar slammed a two-run shot off Craig Stammen in the fourth inning and a solo blast off Pierce Johnson in the eighth. He enjoyed his second multi-homer game as a major-leaguer, with his other coming Sept. 7 against the Dodgers. Villar's .231/.331/.455 slash line as a rookie isn't eye-opening, but he flashed good power with nine home runs and 24 RBI over 52 games. He also slugged 27 homers at the Triple-A level and appears to have cemented his place as a key part of the team's future.

LaMonte Wade Jr. - Tallies three hits in finale Wade went 3-for-5 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 8-1 victory versus San Diego.
Impact Wade regressed significantly after a breakthrough 2021 campaign, and he came into Wednesday with a batting average under the Mendoza line. He was able to lift his final slash line to 207/.305/.359 thanks to the three-hit finale, and he swiped his first bag of the campaign after notching six thefts last season. It's unclear what Wade's future is in San Francisco -- he's out of minor-league options, so the Giants will need to give him a spot on the 26-man roster in 2023 or designate him for assignment.
