Impact Wade just returned from being held out of the lineup for three games with a side injury, and it appears he's picked up another injury in a season full of them. He went 2-for-3 with two runs scored prior to his exit, lifting his batting average over the Mendoza Line for the first time since Aug. 17. He should be considered day-to-day ahead of Thursday's series finale in Colorado.

Impact Brebbia filled the opener role in Tuesday's game in Colorado, allowing a hit and striking out two in a scoreless inning. The right-hander has yet to go more than one inning in any of his six previous turns as an opener, so it's likely to again be a bullpen day for the Giants. Impact Hjelle pitched the fourth through seventh innings, but it was Tyler Rogers who was credited with the win in this one. It was still a positive outing for Hjelle on three days' rest, especially since it was at Coors Field. The right-hander has allowed nine runs in 10 innings since rejoining the big club earlier this month. He has an 8.44 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and 18:5 K:BB through 16 innings across six appearances. It's not clear when Hjelle might pitch again, though he could continue to work as a bulk reliever behind an opener.
