ImpactCrawford was held out of Sunday's series finale against the Cubs after he exited Saturday's game with wrist soreness, but he'll return to action after a one-game absence. Dominic Leone - Draws start in bullpen gameLeone is scheduled to start Monday against the Padres in what amounts to a bullpen game, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.
ImpactLeone will pick up his third start in eight days while the Giants currently have only three healthy rotation options (Kevin Gausman, Logan Webb and Anthony DeSclafani) on the 28-man active roster. The Giants are expected to call up Scott Kazmir from Triple-A Sacramento later this week to serve as a starting option or primary pitcher out of the bullpen, but the team will likely use multiple relievers after Leone exits Monday's contest. In his last turn as an opener Saturday, Leone worked two innings, tying his longest outing of the season.

ImpactThe 29-year-old played the full game Sunday after leaving Saturday's game with wrist soreness. Bryant was able to score the decisive run when he darted home on a wild pitch in the seventh inning. He sports a .268/.353/.495 slash line with 24 home runs, 66 RBI, 80 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 516 plate appearances. Bryant is locked in as San Francisco's primary right fielder, but he's also picked up time around the diamond as a versatile defender.

Austin Slater - Steals base in winSlater went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Cubs.
ImpactThe 28-year-old returned from the 7-day concussion injured list and made a solid impact in his first game back. Slater is up to 14 steals in 16 attempts this season. With a .232/.316/.398 slash line, 10 home runs, 29 RBI and 34 runs scored through 291 plate appearances, the speedy outfielder will be an option to bat leadoff versus southpaws. It's unclear if Slater or Steven Duggar will be the primary platoon-mate with Mike Yastrzemski in center field, although the former has also seen some time in left field.
