Dylan Moore - Returns from injured list The Mariners reinstated Moore (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Impact Moore was placed on the injured list with a left oblique strain before the start of the season and is now ready to make his season debut. The 30-year-old utility man began his second attempt at a rehab assignment May 18 and slashed .212/.366/.242 over 41 plate appearances. He's unlikely to lock down a permanent starting role, but his defensive versatility should allow him to find a spot in the lineup somewhat often. Sam Haggerty was sent down to Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move.

Penn Murfee - Successful start to rehab stint Murfee (elbow) was credited with a hold in Triple-A Tacoma's win over Sacramento on Sunday, firing a perfect eighth inning during which he recorded two strikeouts.

Impact Kicking off his rehab assignment, Murfee pounded nine of his 15 pitches in for strikes. The right-hander, who's been on the shelf since early May, couldn't have asked for a better start to his journey back to the big-league club, and he's likely to log several more appearances with the Rainiers given the amount of time he's been sidelined.

Teoscar Hernández - Laces triple in Sunday's loss Hernandez went 2-for-3 with a triple, a walk and a run in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

Impact The Mariners were swept over the three-game weekend set and significantly outscored over the last two games in particular, but Hernandez enjoyed a solid weekend on an individual level. Sunday's two-hit effort, his second straight, pushed his tally against Texas to 5-for-11 over the three games, and the triple was his second of the campaign to mark his first season with multiple three-baggers since 2019. Hernandez also coaxed his average back over the .240 mark (.241) for the first time since May 21 and carries a nifty .300 mark in that category over his last eight games.

Andrés Muñoz - Could return Tuesday The Mariners are expected to reinstate Munoz (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener in San Diego, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Impact Though Munoz has been on the shelf since April 9 with a right deltoid strain, he's looked as effective as ever since starting a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma last week. He's yet to allow a hit over three scoreless innings, striking out three batters in those appearances while displaying his typical upper-90s fastball velocity. Heading into the season, Munoz was projected to be part of a committee at closer with Paul Sewald, but Munoz may have to settle for a setup role upon his return while Sewald has turned in a 2.96 ERA and 0.90 WHIP this season en route to converting all but one of his 12 save chances.

Impact Miller has now given up 15 runs over his last seven innings spanning two starts. The Rangers were able to pick him apart in the third inning, when he allowed a home run, three doubles and two singles before Gabe Speier worked out of trouble. It's tough to read too much into Miller's sudden struggles -- he's taken care of weaker opponents, but the Yankees and the Rangers are both top-10 offenses for run scoring. The right-hander is now at a 4.46 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 33:5 K:BB through 38.1 innings over seven starts. He's projected for a weekend road start versus the Angels in his next outing.

Impact Murfee has been on the shelf for just over a month with right elbow inflammation, so the Mariners may want to see him make more than one appearance in the minors before bringing him back from the 15-day injured list. Before he was sidelined with the injury, Murfee had posted a 1.38 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 15:9 K:BB in 13 innings out of the Seattle bullpen while gathering one win and one hold.

Andrés Muñoz - Another scoreless rehab outing Munoz (shoulder) fired a scoreless fourth inning during which he issued a walk and recorded a strikeout in Triple-A Tacoma's loss to Sacramento on Friday.

Impact Munoz's second rehab appearance saw him fire eight of 15 pitches for strikes and put together another scoreless outing. Rainiers play-by-play broadcaster Mike Curto reports the right-hander threw 10 sliders and five fastballs, with the heater sitting between 97-99 mph. Munoz's velocity is clearly in formidable shape, lending credence to the notion he may only need a couple of more outings at most on the farm before being deemed ready for activation.

Julio Rodríguez - Logs 12th steal Saturday Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with an RBI fielder's choice, a stolen base and a run in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

Impact Rodriguez hit safely for the 11th time in the last 12 games while also recording a steal for the third straight contest. The talented 22-year-old does seem to be well on his way to completely turning around a lackluster start to the season, but his .306 on-base percentage -- 39 points lower than his rookie season figure -- has plenty of room for improvement.
