Katie Ledecky had Bryce Harper hold all her medals so she could make the first pitch
Swimming star Katie Ledecky returned from the Rio Olympics to her Washington D.C. area home a hero.
So naturally, the Washington Nationals invited the Rio breakout to throw out the first pitch before they took on the Baltimore Orioles at Nationals Park on Wednesday night.
Though it's hard for anyone to throw from the mound with four golds and a silver medal hanging from your neck — even for an Olympic powerhouse like Ledecky.
Luckily, the 19-year-old had NL MVP Bryce Harper on hand to personally attend to her considerable hardware so she could throw out the first pitch.
