Back in leadoff spot Thursday Robles went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two runs in a win over the Athletics on Thursday. Impact Robles was back atop the order Thursday and delivered a performance worthy of that slotting, posting his sixth multi-hit tally in the last nine games. Robles has arguably been the Mariners' best all-around hitter over the last two months, producing a .312 average, .832 OPS, 15 extra-base hits, 18 RBI, 10 walks, 18 steals and 25 runs over his last 44 games. He's also gotten on base an additional five times via hit-by-pitches, and he carries a modest 18.5 percent strikeout rate in that stretch that's the envy of most of his inconsistent teammates.
