Pascal Wehrlein's F1 car ends up on its side at Monaco
Pascal Wehrlein’s Sauber ended up on its side during the Monaco GP.
Wehrlein was running 18th and was hit from behind by the McLaren-Honda of Jenson Button at Portier. Wehrlein's car then came to a halt on its side against the barrier. Button was also forced to retire due to damage.
Wehrlein radioed to his team that he was OK and he was able to walk away from the car under his own power. The incident took place on lap 60 of 78 and brought out the safety car.

The news got worse for Sauber under the safety car after Marcus Ericsson went to unlap himself and hit the wall at Ste. Devote. The news wasn't much better for McLaren, as Stoffel Vandoorne also crashed at Ste. Devote as he was being passed by Sergio Perez for 10th on the restart.
