Third in Quaker State 400 Cindric finished third in the Quaker State 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Impact Cindric showed the superspeedway racing skills that made him a Daytona 500 winner earlier this season. The Penske Racing youngster started fifth on the grid and led 7 total laps at the Atlanta oval. Cindric would regain good track position late and battle for the win in the closing laps. Contact on the white flag lap would see Corey Lajoie be punted from the lead and Cindric would hold off Erik Jones until the yellow was displayed and the race ended. It was his third Top 5 of the season.
